We talk a lot about stewardship in faith.
God calls us to care for what we’re given — our time, talents, money, and families.
But there’s a trap too many of us fall into:
Confusing stewardship with servitude.
😱 Forever dreading Mondays
Too many people sit in jobs they hate, chained to bosses they don’t respect, because they think “providing” means enduring endless misery.
They confuse being a good steward with being owned.
But that’s not what Christ asks of us.
He asks us to serve Him, not the grind. To use our gifts faithfully, not bury them under pointless tasks, late-night texts from the boss, or commutes that steal hours from our families.
💪 Your pain has a purpose though
Your pain? God can use it.
Like clay in the hands of a potter, the frustrations of work and money shape us.
But He didn’t design you to stay stuck.
Pain is the chisel; purpose is the sculpture.
The truth:
Being a faithful steward means putting what you’ve been given to work for God’s glory — not letting a job or a paycheck dictate your worth.
Maybe that looks like:
Starting the side hustle God put on your heart.
Learning to manage money wisely so your family has breathing room.
Building something that lets you serve others, not just survive.
The grind doesn’t own you. God does.
